Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the young age of fourteen. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling prior to making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to continue building upon her triumph in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She finished all of her competitors in the initial round. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen won over Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's amateur career. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut as a professional. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the one round with a TKO. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and won via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen utilized her formidable grappling skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a third round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy with the catchweight (138.1lb) because Ladd did not make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in second round by TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the final fight with the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was at UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina and ground-and-pounded her in the second round to secure a TKO victory. Her next fight, against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. She also received the bonus for performance of night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos Lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first fight she's ever had in any significant capacity. Ladd took home the night's fight bonus after both fighters fought an intense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd after 16 seconds which ended her streak to win. The third time she fought on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. Her most recent bout for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
